Job summary

Brunswick, a global marine leader, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join Mercury Marine and contribute to producing high‑quality inboard and outboard engines.

You will use air and pneumatic tools, set up equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting production goals and following SOPs. Brunswick is an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcomes diverse candidates.

Qualifications

  • Use air and pneumatic tools to assemble components for marine engines and service parts.
  • Set up, adjust, and/or changeover equipment with appropriate tools.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area according to SOPs and plant rules.
  • Perform inspections as part of standard classifications and intervals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
  • Take action when out-of-tolerance issues arise and escalate as needed.
  • Participate in training and cross-training to support a flexible workforce.

Assembly Technician – Mercury Marine

As an Assembly Technician you will join a dynamic team of the company’s winning culture by supporting the Mercury Marine values of: Integrity, Customer Centricity, Product & Service Leadership, Sustainability, and Employee Engagement through the production of high quality inboard and outboard marine engines.

  • Use a variety of air and pneumatic tools to assemble components for marine engines, service parts, and assemblies
  • Set up, adjust, and/or changeover equipment with appropriate tools common to the particular job
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Rules, and Plant Safety Rules
  • Perform inspection common to the classification at required intervals
  • Take appropriate action when out of tolerance situations occur and notify appropriate individuals when further action must be taken
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues
  • Participate in training and cross‑training to support flexible workforce needs
