Job summary

Qualified Staffing in Lillington, NC is seeking an Electrical - Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a manufacturing team. You will assemble, test and troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical products using drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams, and you must be able to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.

The role is full-time with schedule 6A-430P Monday-Thursday. Overtime is available.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of electrical and/or mechanical assembly experience.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• High school diploma or GED; Associate degree is a plus.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components and systems.
• Read and follow blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and detailed drawings.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Perform drilling, cutting, bending and other fabrication tasks as needed.
• Test completed assemblies and troubleshoot issues.
• Document quality inspections and production records.
• Assist with packaging and preparing finished products for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.

Electrical - Mechanical Assembly Technician

Location: Lillington, NC
Schedule: Full-Time, Temp-Perm, 6A-430P Monday-Thursday. Overtime available as needed!

Pay: $16/hr

We are seeking an experienced Electrical - Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a manufacturing team in Lillington. This is a hands-on role assembling, testing and troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical products using drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components and systems
• Read and follow blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and detailed drawings
• Use a variety of hand and power tools
• Perform drilling, cutting, bending and other fabrication tasks as needed
• Test completed electrical and mechanical assemblies
• Troubleshoot and correct assembly or electrical issues
• Perform and document quality inspections
• Assist with packaging and preparing finished products for shipment
• Maintain accurate production records and a clean, safe work area

What We're Looking For:

• 3–5 years of electrical and/or mechanical assembly experience
• Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma or GED; Associate degree is a plus
• Ability to work overtime as needed
