Job summary

Allegion in Greenfield, Indiana is seeking a Team Leader, Assembly to guide and mentor assembly teams, ensure production schedules, and uphold quality and safety standards. You will coordinate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.

The role requires 2+ years of assembly experience, familiarity with assembly techniques and tools, and ERP system proficiency along with the ability to read blueprints. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of assembly experience.
• Familiarity with assembly techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Computer literacy, ERP systems knowledge, and ability to use barcode scanners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate assembly teams to meet production schedules, quality, and safety standards.
• Assign tasks, provide direction, and coach team members in assembly processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to guide assembly work.
• Operate and set up machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
• Track production metrics and contribute to Lean manufacturing improvements.
