Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment seeks an Assembly Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and develop a high‑performing team in our Faribault facility. This hands‑on role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity, coaching a team of 15–30 hourly workers and aligning with Team Leads to meet schedule goals.

You’ll drive Lean improvements, monitor KPIs, and foster accountability and engagement through coaching, training, and recognition in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or production experience.
• Minimum 1 year of direct supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience leading hourly employees in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 15–30 hourly assembly employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate staffing and resources to meet schedule requirements and customer demand.
• Coach, develop, and mentor employees to improve performance and engagement.
• Hold employees accountable to safety, quality, attendance, productivity, and company expectations.
• Provide regular performance feedback, recognize achievements, and address performance concerns when necessary.
• Coordinate with Team Leads to identify and resolve production issues while maintaining workflow and productivity.
