Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and write in English and interpret documents.
  • Digital literacy: use of tablets, computers and other digital technology is required.
  • Knowledgeable on use of common hand and power tools and ability to operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble sub-assemblies and finished products using hand and power tools, following work instructions and prints.
  • Inspect parts, complete assembly checklists, and ensure all components are included.
  • Maintain quality by following internal processes and FDA/ISO regulations; report defects promptly.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or completed work to supervisors.
  • Operate basic material handling equipment as needed.
  • Meet daily production goals and record work in required systems.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Support a positive team environment and continuous improvement.

AltimateMedical Inc. is hiring an Assembly Specialist II at our Leggero facility in Burnet, Texas!
The Assembly Specialist II demonstrates a high level of efficiency (>90%) for one to two products within a product line. They may also work in sub-assembly, process part orders, box product, and complete quality inspections on the line. The Assembly Specialist II is capable and willing to train individuals who are at the Assembly Specialist I level. They demonstrate solid understanding of quality, safety, and assembly processes. They must demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as be a team player.

What You'll Do
  • Assemble sub-assemblies and finished products using hand and power tools, following work instructions and prints
  • Select and inspect parts, complete assembly checklists, and ensure all components and accessories are included
  • Maintain high-quality standards by following internal processes and FDA/ISO regulations; report any defects or issues immediately
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or completed work to supervisors
  • Operate basic material handling equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks, lift tables)
  • Meet daily production goals while accurately recording work in required systems
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Support a positive team environment and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

  • Monitors their own work to ensure quality; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Team player, willing to jump in and help where needed.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred
  • Ability to read and write in English and interpret documents.
  • Ability to understand and follow prints.
  • Digital literacy: ability to use tablets, computers, and other technology is required. All employees must demonstrate ability to use email, Teams, timekeeping, online learning and other digital technology used within their department.
  • Knowledgeable on use of common hand and power tools and ability to operate equipment safely and proficiently
  • Manufacturing or assembly environment preferred
Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to withstand moderate levels of noise.
  • Ability to twist, turn, bend, reach, push, and pull.
  • Ability to lift product and other items, up to 60 pounds. Requests assistance with lifting and moving products as needed.
  • Ability to maintain attendance expectations; consistently work hours as scheduled.
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures.
