Responsibilities

• Plan routes and select appropriate shipping methods for timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with FedEx and UPS to schedule pickups and resolve issues.
• Use shipping software to process shipments, generate labels, and track deliveries.
• Maintain records of shipment details, weights, charges, status, and discrepancies.

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Delivery Associate to support our shipping, receiving, and delivery operations. This position is responsible for preparing and processing outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate shipping records, coordinating transportation, and delivering materials to designated locations using a company vehicle.

The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and able to manage competing priorities while ensuring shipments are accurate, properly documented, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
• Verify shipment contents against manifests, invoices, purchase orders, and other shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping orders, work orders, and delivery records.
• Operate a company vehicle to deliver and transport materials to customers, vendors, and other designated locations as needed.
• Plan delivery routes and determine appropriate shipping methods to support timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers, including FedEx and UPS, to schedule pickups, arrange deliveries, and resolve shipping issues.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in shipping, delivery, logistics, or a related role.
• Valid California driver's license and a driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and make deliveries as required.
• Familiarity with FedEx and UPS shipping systems and software preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate shipping records.
