Job summary

ArtiFlex Manufacturing, Inc is seeking an Assembly Technician specializing in robotic setup operations and manual assembly within our Wooster, Ohio plant. The role involves working with resistance weld guns, supporting changeovers, and performing routine repairs as needed.

Responsibilities include following safety programs, accurate documentation, and achieving first-piece quality through setup and programming of robotic welders and hemming systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Ability to perform repeated hand/arm/shoulder motions.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Forklift operator's license is a plus.

• Support and follow the Company Safety Programs.
• Work independently without constant supervision.
• Communicate respectfully with team members and other support groups.
• Read and understand quality expectations and complete documentation.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Maintain an organized workspace free of debris and trip hazards.
• Assemble designated panels to production standards and specifications.
• Use process sheets to set up and achieve first piece approval of setup processes.
• Touch-up programming of robotic welding, riveting, and hemming robots to achieve first piece approval.
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by supervision.

The Assembler Robotic Setup Operation reports to the Assembly Supervisor.

Job Location

Performed inside of the plant.

Equipment Used

Spot welding guns, Robotic welder, testing equipment, hand tools, protective gloves, arm guards, earplugs and safety glasses. Electric or gas forklift if required.
