A Brazer Certification must be obtained within 30 days, and duties may rotate with other repair positions as needed. The position emphasizes ability to work with team members and supervisors, while complying with basic AC-R600 knowledge and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Math Level 1 is required.
• Able to read and write English to understand repair procedures and wiring schematics.
• Ability to communicate with team members and production supervisor.
• Must obtain Brazer Certification within first 30 days in role.
• Flexible to rotate positions with other Repair Operators or other positions as needed.
• Familiar with small tools for repairing; learn to repair cabinets and doors (cosmetic and electric).

Responsibilities

• Repairs gas and electric ranges to support production of high quality products on time.
• Troubleshoots functional defects.
• Backfill for associates who must repair workmanship errors when needed.
• Understands basic A.C-R600; experience preferred.
• Handle complex tasks and repair units in a timely manner while moving down the line.
• Communicate with Team Members and Production Supervisor.

You will be based in our Springfield, TN location. The shift will start at 5 :00 am and end at 1 :30 pm. This role supports the production line and will follow production needs.

Your main tasks:

• Repairs gas and electric ranges to support the production of the highest quality products, on time, that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Troubleshoots functional defects.
• May on occasion, backfill for associates who must repair workmanship errors.
• Understands basic A.C-R600. Experience preferred.
• Capable of handling complex tasks & repairing units in a timely manner while moving down the line
• Ability to communicate with Team Members and Production Supervisor

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift packages 40 lbs. or less on a consistent basis
• Should be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
• Should be able to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending
• Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet
