Job summary

ABB in Pinetops, NC is seeking a Production Assembler to support assembly of products and panels on the shop floor. You will read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions to ensure accurate assembly, perform quality testing, and adhere to SOPs while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and legal authorization to work in the US. You will work onsite, using hand tools and light equipment, and contribute to meeting daily production

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
• Knowledge and use of tools - tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing integrated with production lines.
• Performing work manually or using light hand tools.
• Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
