Job summary

Laitram LLC, through its Intralox division, seeks an Assembly Quality Assurance Technician in the Harahan facility near New Orleans. The role runs Monday–Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with overtime and possible weekend work.

The qualified candidate will interpret drawings, support continuous improvement, lead corrective actions, and help maintain calibration logs and quality documentation. A technical degree and quality certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (mechanics, IT, math, science, etc.).
• Up-to-date professional quality certifications (ASQ, QAI, CSSC, etc.).
• Proficiency with basic computer software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• 2+ years in a manufacturing quality environment or plastics injection molding.

Responsibilities

• Interpret product specifications and tolerances on quality drawings during inspections.
• Lead root cause and corrective action efforts with production.
• Document non-conformances and containment of non-conforming product.
• Perform plantwide quality audits and support quality training and processes.
