Assembly Production Supervisor

What a day looks likeYou open the shift by reviewing the day's plan with production control, then walk the line to confirm staffing and equipment readiness. You assign work, set expectations for safety and quality, and ensure each station is prepared to assemble, test, and package product correctly. As the work progresses, you coach team members, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and notify maintenance at the first sign of equipment trouble. Mid-shift, you verify documentation is accurate and signed, check schedule attainment, and adjust resources as needed. Before handoff, you complete evaluations and notes, close out reports and logs, and confirm the floor is safe and ready for the next team.
