Qualifications

• Six months to one year of factory/manufacturing experience preferred.

• Familiarity with production documentation is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production flow for machining/assembling parts according to procedures and complete daily production tracking reports.
• Perform quality checks by measuring diameters, depths and grooves as required for the work cell.
• Initiate Trouble Reports and support investigations and countermeasure suggestions.
• Label and approve outgoing inspected parts with packing numbers.
• Participate in TPM activities and Kaizen for process improvement.
• Attend and complete operator training for each Rank and assist others as needed.

Job Title: Production Associate - 2nd shift

Job Category: Light Industrial

Job Description:

Responsible for machining and/or assembling production parts, maintaining 100% quality with on-time delivery to customers.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain strong attendance; knows and follows Company policies as directed by the Employee Handbook, the Safety Rules and Regulations, and the Quality Manual.


• Maintains process flow for machining/assembling each part based on specific procedures and completes all daily production tracking reports accurately.


• Performs quality check inspections by measuring (gauging) part diameters, depths, external and internal grooves, etc. as required for the work cell (machining or assembly). Performs all other inspections at the work cell, including additional run-out and poke-yoke checks.


• Consistently produces 100% quality parts by identifying abnormal situations and following proper operating procedures.


• Initiates Trouble Reports.


• May participate in investigations and suggest countermeasures.


• Approves outgoing, inspected parts by labeling boxes with individual packing number.


• Demonstrates a good understanding of all production-related documentation (e.g., PCC, Operation Sheets, SOS, FMEA, Key Point, Kan Ban, Flow Cards).


• Demonstrate a good understanding of TPM by checking all fluid levels in the machines (e.g., oil, coolant, etc.), and participate in scheduled TPM activities.


• Attends and successfully completes all operator training required for each Rank.


• Strives daily to meet Department and Company goals and objectives; improve (Kaizen) machine processes, support team leaders and members, and maintain a safe working environment for all.


• Understands Kaizen program and participate.


• Trains others when requested in areas where already achieved suitable Competency level.


• All other duties required of the job and requested by a member of the Management Team.
