Assembly Operator - Manufacturing, Life Sciences - 2nd Shift

Assembly Operator; Manufacturing, Life Sciences; Beaverton, MI; $16.50/hr.; 2nd Shift

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Pay: $16.50/hr. (post-training); $1.00/hr. shift premium for 2nd shift.

The Assembly Operator will safely assemble medical and biopharmaceutical manifolds using detailed drawings and various tools. Responsibilities include performing dimensional inspections, visual product inspections for cleanliness, recording inspections following Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and ensuring quality standards are met. Attention to detail and good hand/eye coordination are essential.

Operate finishing (assembly & packaging) equipment and tools safely with minimal supervision. Proficient in QAD system, accurate data entry, material reconciliation, and documentation. Follow SOPs and MOPs, inspect products, and complete paperwork accurately.

Job Functions:

  1. Interpret work processes, manufacturing aides, models, and prints.
  2. Safely produce quality parts, troubleshoot as needed.
  3. Use general computer programs and industrial technology including QAD, MQ1, and FACTIVITY.
  4. Follow SOP, MOP, ISO, and GMP standards.
  5. Use power and hand tools safely for defined processes.
Is this job for you?

  • Strong work ethic, safety-conscious, quality-focused, willing to perform all tasks.
  • Good manual dexterity and coordination required.
