WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE:

  • Support daily production goals by ensuring the assigned area meets objectives through problem-solving and maintaining line flow.
  • Communicate with various resources to resolve issues and ensure uninterrupted production in your area.
  • Reduce waste.
  • Coordinate employee training and staffing; serve as a primary contact for team members in your area.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • At least 1 year of production/manufacturing experience, with lead experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Skill in work order management
  • Proficiency with Windows (Word, Excel, Outlook), manufacturing or inventory software, and the Internet
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate job expectations, monitor, coach, and enforce policies and procedures
  • Ability to conduct operator training on standard work, including work instructions, machine adjustments, and quality standards
  • Support for continuous improvement initiatives

Pay Transparency: nVent's pay scale reflects base pay ranges based on location and factors like experience and performance. The range for this role is $23.90 - $44.40 per hour. Additional compensation such as incentives may be available.
