Job summary

TE Connectivity's Assembly Operator II on the 2nd shift (2:15 PM–12:45 AM, Mon-Thu, Fri 2 PM–6 PM) builds and tests electronic and mechanical components per standard work instructions, drawings and procedures. Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Assembly Operator Iis responsible for assembling and testing electronic and mechanical components in accordance with standardized work instructions, manufacturing drawings, and operating procedures. This role requiresmandatory proficiency in soldering, exceptional hand-eye coordination, microscope operation skills, and unwavering reliability in a precision manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements

This is a 2nd shift position but MUST be available to train on 2nd shift Hours are 2:15PM-12:45PM Monday-Thursday, Friday 2PM-6PM

  • Following quality control procedures, looking for mistakes in the assembly process and faulty components, and reporting problems.
  • Maintaining equipment, performing housekeeping duties and suggesting ways to improve procedures.
  • Using available tools to connect parts, make components fit together, and align properly; completing work order documentation.
  • Operating and monitoring automated technologies used in the assembly process.
MANDATORY Required Qualifications
    • Critical Skills (Non-Negotiable):
    • Demonstrated soldering experience - manufacturing soldering proficiency is REQUIRED
    • Exceptional hand-eye coordination for precision assembly of electronic/mechanical components
    • Proficient microscope operation skills for detailed inspection and assembly work
    • Proven reliability with consistent attendance and performance standards
    • Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8+ hours) while maintaining focus and precision
Preferred qualifications
  • 2+ years of manufacturing soldering experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of reliability and consistent performance
  • Experience with quality control and inspection processes
  • Familiarity with electronic components and circuit assembly

COMPENSATION
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $22 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
