Position: Assembly Operator II at Joyce/Dayton.

Shift Details

• 1st Shift Opportunity: 6:48 AM to 3:18 PM

Summary

An Assembly Operator II safely and efficiently assembles products meeting all quality standards. This hourly, non-exempt position reports to the Production Planner Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Disassemble and clean customer RMAs.
• Use parts lists to gather components needed for assembly.
• Use proper lifting methods based on product size and weight.
• Inspect products and processes during assembly.
• Test final assemblies to ensure they meet specifications.
• Cross-train with team members.
• Follow procedures and schedules for accuracy and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of mechanical assembly experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Basic crane and forklift experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand BOMs.
• Knowledge of inventory systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
