Job description

Akkodis is seeking an Equipment Operator II - Weekend Shift 4 for a Contract job with a client in Southington, CT. Candidates must have experience operating and troubleshooting automated production equipment to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient operation.

Note: 4th Shift (Night shift) Set Schedule: Thu/Fri - 10:45PM to 7:15AM & Sat/Sun - 6:45PM to 7:15AM

Rate Range: $22/hour to $24/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Equipment Operator II - Weekend Shift 4 job responsibilities include:

• Operate and monitor automated production equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance, including start-up from a cold state.

• Perform Level I preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting to address machine faults and maintain continuous operation.

• Execute line changeovers, including line clearance, system transactions, and documentation updates.

• Manage electronic batch records and inventory systems, including work order setups and test sample pulls for QC.

• Maintain production flow by refilling component hoppers/bowls and removing completed goods.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, escalate non-conformances, and support environmental, health, and safety initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in manufacturing or equipment operation is a plus.

• Minimum of 2 years’ operating automated or semi-automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to perform Level I preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting on production machinery.

• Proficiency in using electronic batch records, data acquisition systems, and inventory management tools.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
