Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

What Your Background Should Look Like
  • Follow standardized work instructions for the assembly of components in accordance with top/sub level drawings.
  • The testing of electronics/mechanical parts assembly’s that require good hand-eye coordination.
  • Read and comprehend manufacturing drawings and S.O.Ps.
  • Maintain high cleanliness standards (5S) during the shift and in the responsible areas.
  • Testing wiring circuits and hardware.
  • Inspect electronics parts.
  • Familiar with power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters.
  • Experience with PCBA and wiring soldering (J-std) is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrate a mindset of continuous improvement in all duties.
  • Follow all safety protocols.
  • Using microscopes.

Other duties as assigned by Team Leader.

Required Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in soldering and assembly components.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Degree or certification as a Mechatronics/electronics technician.
  • Ability to comply with applicable quality assurance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience related to assembly.

Compensation
  • Base salary ranges from $19.23 to $28.78, depending on location and experience.
  • Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
