Legend Brands is seeking an Assembly Operator to fabricate and assemble components into finished industrial products. You will follow work instructions, operate hand and power tools, and perform testing, inspection, and packaging for delivery.

Under general supervision, the role requires reading drawings/BOMs, performing routine maintenance, keeping a clean workstation, and adhering to safety protocols while helping meet daily production targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of production preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble product according to work instructions (mechanical and wiring).
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete tasks.
• Work with a team to meet daily production targets.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Keep the workstation clean and organized.
• Follow safety protocols including handling of electrical components and refrigerants.
• Perform visual and functional quality checks on components and finished units.
• Report defects, malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Assist in training, troubleshooting, and data entry.
• Understand drawings and BOMs for proper assembly.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Assembly Operator is responsible for fabricating and assembling components into finished industrial products including testing, inspection, and packaging for final delivery.

Essential Duties

• Assemble product according to work instructions (mechanical and wiring).
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete assigned tasks.
• Work efficiently within a team to meet daily production targets.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Keep the workstation clean and organized.
• Follow safety protocols, including proper handling of electrical components and refrigerants.
• Perform visual and functional quality checks on components and finished units.
• Identify and report any defects, malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Assist in training, troubleshooting, and data entry.
• Understand drawings and BOMs to ensure proper assembly of products.
• Certification and training in specialized production processes and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Knowledge of production preferred.
• Skill in verbal and written communication, including the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Skilled at working in an ever changing, fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in paying attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge and demonstration of safety procedures.
• Ability to operate machinery and hand tools.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50lbs) and stand for long periods.

Hiring Range

Between $18.00 - $25.25 per hour.
