Job summary

Hamilton-Ryker in Berea, Kentucky, is seeking assembly workers for short-term positions assembling lift trucks and components. Expect two 10-hour shifts with mandatory overtime on Fridays and/or Saturdays; ability to work either shift is required. Candidates should have at least six months in manufacturing and a high school diploma or GED.

Weekly pay, direct deposit, and medical and 401(k) options are available as part of a temp-to-hire arrangement based on attendance and performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must comply with client's substance abuse and background check policy.
• Minimum of six months manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Safety knowledge in a manufacturing environment and proper PPE usage.
• Ability to read and interpret SOE's, OMS, shop orders, operation sheets, prints and diagrams.
• Familiar with DFT techniques.
• Must be able to work either shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble lift trucks and components within a set cycle time.
• Test, inspect, adjust and reject parts/materials.
• Use assembly tools and maintain housekeeping and safety.
• Operate equipment safely and take responsibility for quality.
• Document work in the BAM system and maintain standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.

Job description

Assembly Manufacturing Berea , Kentucky | Short Term

Shifts:
1st: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm (10-hour shifts)
Overtime Mandatory: Friday and/or Saturday 5:00am - 1:00pm

2nd: Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 2:00 am (10-hour shifts)
Overtime Mandatory: Friday and/or Saturday 1:00pm - 9:00pm
***MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EITHER SHIFT***

What you will be doing

• Assembly of lift trucks and components within a certain cycle time.
• Test, inspect, make adjustments and reject parts/materials.
• Proper care and usage of assembly tools, equipment, facility, and maintain general housekeeping.
• Safe behavior and safe operation of equipment.
• Accept responsibility for quality of work performed.
• Proper documentation using the BAM system.
• Maintain adherence to quality standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Must be able to manage time in such a way as to maintain an acceptable level of attendance.
• Exhibit willingness to participate in training deemed necessary by management to assist in the development of basic and technical skills

What we need from you:
