Job summary

Pentair plc in Delavan, WI is seeking an Assembly Operator to assemble, test and package utility pumps. The role includes oil fill, wiring, decal application and performance testing on a 2nd shift. Candidates should have at least 3 years of manufacturing experience and be able to lift up to 40 lbs. OT may be required.

You will perform required operations to assemble, test and package all sizes and types of utility, sump, sewage and effluent pumps.You will:Perform assembly operations including: oil fill, electrical connections and decal application to produce a variety of utility type pumps.Administer high pot and unit performance tests according to predetermined standards.Perform final packaging operations.Perform in-process quality checks and correct non-conformances.Key Requirements:A minimum of 3 years of recent manufacturing experienceStanding, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 40lbsSteel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.Attention to detailTeamwork environmentPosition hours/shifts (Overtime Available!):2nd shift 3:00pm – 11:00pmMandatory OT required (after shift or on weekend)Compensation:The hourly pay for this role is: $18.50 + 8% shift differential. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training.
