Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking an Assembly Operator for the 2nd shift in Battle Creek, MI. Work hours are 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with a paid lunch and an 8-hour shift.

The role involves loading components, completing production/inspection reports, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, hourly part inspections, and packing finished products. A year of manufacturing experience is preferred with a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Perform basic math skills, including percentages and fractions.
• Prefer 1 year of manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load components into machines or conveyor systems.
• Complete production and inspection reports as required.

• Conduct hourly inspection of parts.

Assembly Operator- 2nd shift

Work hours are 3:00 pm to 11 pm.

Work a straight 8 hours shift with a paid lunch

Pay rate starts at $20.55/ hour with scheduled pay increase at 3 months and 6 months of employment.

Additional $0.75 shift differential for 2nd shift

Eligible for monthly attendance bonus first full month of employment

Assembly Operator will be responsible for

• Loading components into machine or onto conveyor system
• Will complete production and inspection reports as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
• Hourly inspection of parts
• Packing finished product various totes/ bins

Requirements

• Prefer 1 year of previous manufacturing experience in fast paced environment
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Perform basic math skills- including working with percentages and fractions
• Ability to use and understand quality gauges, quality fixtures
• Ability to work in a factory environment- standing, bending. Lifting up to 25 lbs
