Job summary

nVent is seeking entry level and skilled Assembly Operators on 1st shift in Minnesota. You will perform assembly, packaging, and paint preparation for products, following Work Instructions and specifications. Starting pay is up to $20.75+ with overtime opportunities.

You will work individually or in teams to meet safety and quality standards, maintain records, and participate in continuous improvement efforts to support customer needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience reading work instructions or blueprints preferred.
• Experience assembling mechanical parts into a finished product preferred.
• Knowledge of scales and manufacturing processes preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, package, label and/or prep products according to instructions.
• Complete work based on specifications, drawings, and routings.
• Move production materials as required and maintain equipment.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and 5S standards daily.
• Record accurate manufacturing data and maintain inventory records.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities as needed.
