Job summary

Stow is seeking an Assembly Operator to pre-assemble racking frames in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will follow work instructions, use torque wrenches and power tools, and maintain quality and safety standards.

You will work with a production team to meet daily goals, stand for long periods, and handle repetitive tasks while adhering to OSHA guidelines and maintaining a clean, organized work area. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials per OSHA lifting guidelines.
• Familiarity with power tools, torque wrenches and basic hand tools.
• Experience in high-pace, mass production or manufacturing preferred.
• Stand/walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Pre-assemble racking frames and products per work instructions, blueprints, and schedules.
• Operate and safely handle torque wrenches and other hand tools.
• Maintain production output while meeting quality standards.
• Inspect assembled frames for visual and functional defects.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to team lead.
• Work with teammates to meet daily production goals.
• Load/unload assembly cells with electric pallet movers.

The warehouse of the future contains high-density, high-precision racking with automated pallet shuttles (like our atlas 1D ) instead of wide aisles that forklifts need to pass through.

Our customers benefit from much better utilization of their warehouses (up to 70% more pallet storage than traditional rack!), maximized vertical space, improved accuracy in pallet selection, and minimized labor costs and product damage.

Over the span of more than 40 years, we’ve grown into a company with 10 manufacturing facilities, 19 commercial offices, and the know-how of around 2000 employees serving customers in 40 countries.

Job Description

The Assembly Operatoris responsible forpre-assembling racking frames and products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a production/assembly team.

Assemble parts and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules

Operate and safely handle power tools, including torque wrenches and other hand tools

Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality standards

Perform visual and functional inspections of assembledframes

Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality defects tolead

Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals

Load and unload assembly cells using electric-pallet mover

Qualifications
