Job summary

Saint-Gobain in Bristol, RI is seeking an Assembly Operator to perform manual assembly tasks to strict customer requirements, including inserting parts, applying adhesives and marking components.

You will measure parts with calipers, micrometers, height stands and CMM, identify quality issues, and assist the team while maintaining 5S standards. You must complete paperwork accurately and escalate problems as needed in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Computer and Math skills required.

• Assist in identifying quality issues within the cell
• Proficient in measuring using calipers, micrometers, height stands, CMM, etc.
• Contribute to team effort by performing other supporting tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor or Cell Lead

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs./week * 52wks)) for this position, is $39,300 to $43,600. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
