Job summary

VELUX in Sparks, NV is seeking an Assembly Operative to perform repetitive assembly operations for sun tunnel components according to production standards and plans.

The role involves installing components, following JT instructions, ensuring quality and safety, and maintaining 5S practices. Overtime and weekend work may be required in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and utilize blueprints is preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install components to assemble finished product.
• Follow Job Instructions (J.I.’s) and line procedures.
• Maintain production, quality and safety standards.
• Perform 5’s housekeeping and sanitation practices.
• Support supervision with additional assignments as needed.
