Job summary

Coperion seeks a dedicated assembler in the United States to join our manufacturing team in Sabetha, Kansas. You will assemble and test mechanical component parts, supporting quality control and safety standards to ensure reliable product performance.

You will move materials with forklifts and pallet jacks, complete kitting and work orders, and document activities as required. A high school diploma is required; prior assembly experience is a plus, and strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer mechanical and/or electrical problem-solving skills.
• Experience operating heavy equipment (forklift, crane) preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic tools preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test mechanical component parts.
• Conduct quality control activities and troubleshoot as needed.
• Gather materials and parts, including tools, for assembly.
• Transport product using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, or by hand.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assembles and tests mechanical product component parts.
• Conducts quality control activities and trouble-shooting as needed.
• Gathers all materials and parts, including tools, needed for assembly of product.
• Transports product through use of forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and by hand.
• Completes kitting reports, work orders and other documentation as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Skill in mechanical and/or electrical problem-solving preferred.
• Skill in operating various heavy equipment including forklift and crane preferred.
• Skill in operation of hydraulic and pneumatic tools preferred.
• Skill in mechanical assembly of component parts preferred.
• Ability to maintain high levels of organization and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
