Job summary

Coperion Food Equipment LLC is seeking an assembly technician to put together industrial food equipment, including mixers and product handling systems, on a standard shift in the United States. The role involves working with parts, adjusting, trimming, and fitting to close tolerances using a variety of hand tools, while adhering to established guidelines for quality and safety.

Applicants should possess solid manual dexterity and be comfortable interpreting assembly procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial food equipment such as mixers, sandwiching equipment, mixes & batter equipment, or product handling equipment.
• Follow assembly procedures and adjust/trim/fit parts to close tolerances as required.
• Perform minor fitting decisions within established guidelines.
• Maintain quality and safety standards during assembly.

• Assemble industrial food equipment such as mixers, sandwiching equipment, mixes & batter equipment, or product handling equipment
• Assembly procedures may involve adjusting, trimming, and fitting parts to moderately close tolerances, working with parts or components which are difficult to handle and other skills which require good dexterity and facility in the use of a variety of hand tools.
• Work is not typically highly repetitive, but the cycle of repetition may be short enough to allow the development of some habit patterns.
• May make minor procedural decisions in fitting and adjusting of parts, etc., but always within established guidelines.
