ColonialWebb Contractors Company in Richmond, VA is seeking an Assembly Mechanic to join the manufacturing team. You will assemble prefabricated piping systems, read blueprints, and verify components meet quality standards before shipment to the field.

This role requires experience in mechanical assembly, plumbing, or pipefitting, proficiency with hand and power tools, and a safe, detail-focused work approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, plumbing, pipefitting, or related trades.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prefabricated piping systems, valves, supports, and components per drawings.
• Read blueprints and schematics to verify specs.
• Use hand tools safely and accurately.
• Perform pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure testing.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and compliance.
• Document QA/QC, production records.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
