ColonialWebb in Richmond, VA seeks a dependable Plumbing/Assembly Helper to support the Manufacturing team with prefabricated piping systems. You will assist Assembly Mechanics, move materials, operate shop equipment, and help maintain a clean, safe production area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the day.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or construction environments.
• Plumbing, pipefitting, mechanical assembly, or fabrication experience.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, lull s, or similar equipment.
• Basic ability to read blueprints or technical drawings.
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as tape measures and levels.
• Mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn a skilled trade.

Responsibilities

• Assist Assembly Mechanics with assembling prefabricated piping systems.
• Hold materials in place and support manual assembly operations.
• Operate shop equipment including grinders, band saws, drills, and other production tools.
• Load, unload, move, and stage raw materials, consumables, and finished assemblies throughout the shop.
• Operate material handling equipment safely after training.
• Assist with inventory organization and material movement.
• Perform general production and shop support duties.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain a safe, organized production environment.
• Follow all safety policies and SOPs.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and manufacturing teams to meet daily production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
