Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and schematics.
• Assemble and install harnesses, switch panels, electrical and mechanical components.
• Program lighting systems per engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC systems.
• Perform repairs and rebuilds on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct functional testing, diagnose faults, trace wiring, and replace components.

Performs a wide range of assembly and troubleshooting tasks with moderate independence.

Core Responsibilities

• Independently read and interpret: Blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and schematics
• Assemble and install: Harnesses Switch panels Electrical and mechanical components
• Program lighting systems per engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot: 12V DC and 110V AC systems
• Perform repairs and rebuilds on: Mechanical Electrical Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Conduct functional testing and diagnose faults. Trace wiring, repair connections, and replace components as needed.
• Perform equipment setup and changeovers
• Identify discrepancies in prints, BOMs, and shop orders

Technical Skills

• Ability to interpret engineering documentation independently.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems (preferred).

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in New York is $19.00 - $21.50. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role.
