• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience.
• At least 1 year of experience as a team lead.
• Proven ability to transition from engineering work to leading an engineering team.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.
• Experience with precision machine assembly and use of hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Assembly team to plan, instruct, direct and check work.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of assembly processes.
• Manage assembly rates and maintain accurate work records.
• Improve productivity and establish clear productivity expectations.
• Prepare daily assembly schedules based on machine status, staff and equipment.
• Train and develop assemblers and lead corrective/preventive action plans.
• Oversee time reporting and performance reviews for team members.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards and communicate across departments.
