Job summary

New Hudson Facades in Marcus Hook, PA is seeking Assembly Line Technicians to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble curtain wall unit subassemblies and complete units, using hand tools and reading assembly drawings to ensure quality and safety.

This fast-paced role requires standing for 8 hours, operating drills and pneumatic tools, applying silicone sealant, glazing, and moving finished units for shipment while keeping the work area clean and compliant with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitive lifting and stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Willingness to learn multiple assembly line positions.
• Experience operating hand tools (drills, impact drivers, saws, nailers).
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow assembly drawings (blueprints).

Responsibilities

• Assemble curtain wall units using hand tools according to specs.
• Verify components with drawings and specifications.
• Install insulation and silicone weather sealant; glaze units.
• Move finished units for storage or shipment; maintain cleanliness.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and report issues promptly.
• Adapt to varying tasks and shifts as directed.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Position Summary

New Hudson Facades is seeking motivated and dependable Assembly Line Technicians to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble curtain wall unit subassemblies and completed units while ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. Successful candidates will be comfortable working with hand tools, reading assembly drawings, and performing physically demanding work in a fast-paced production environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Utilize manual, electric, and pneumatic hand tools to assemble curtain wall units.
• Verify assembly components using assembly drawings and specifications.
• Assemble curtain wall unit subassemblies and complete unit frames.
• Install insulation and manually apply and tool silicone weather sealant.
• Glaze assembled units using pneumatic silicone application equipment.
• Verify final assembly dimensions using a tape measure and assembly drawings.
• Move completed units from the assembly line and prepare them for storage or shipment.
• Report any discrepancies between assembly components and assembly drawings to line supervision.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times.
• Immediately report accidents, unsafe conditions, or unsafe work practices to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
• Return tools and equipment to designated storage locations at the end of each shift.
• Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by supervisors and management.

Qualifications Skills and Abilities

• Willingness and ability to learn multiple assembly line positions and adapt to varying job functions.
• Experience operating manual, electric, and pneumatic hand tools, including:- Drills

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow assembly drawings (blueprints).
• Experience operating material hoists and vacuum lifting equipment is preferred.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Manufacturing, assembly, construction, or related experience is a plus.
