Job summary

GZQSO in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking an Automotive Assembly Operator for the 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday). You will join a production team assembling automotive components and ensuring quality and efficiency.

Starting pay is $15.50 per hour with a potential raise to $17.00 after 90 days. Weekend work may be required; benefits include PTO, holiday pay, health, dental and vision coverage, and a union shop.

Qualifications

• Must pass a national background check.
• No previous manufacturing experience required; manufacturing experience is a plus.

Position Overview

As an Assembly Operator, you will work as part of a production team assembling automotive components while maintaining quality and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive components according to work instructions and specifications
• Operate basic production equipment and hand tools
• Inspect parts for quality and defects
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety and production procedures
• Meet established production and quality goals
• Work effectively as part of a team
• Must be able to pass anational background check
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Previous manufacturing or automotive experience is a plus, but not required
  • 1st Shift:6:00 AM–2:30 PM
