Job summary

Printed Solid Inc. is seeking an Assembly Line worker to join our Newark, DE production team. You will assemble Prusa3D components on a fast-paced line, ensuring quality and efficiency while following safety guidelines and working with a collaborative crew.

Responsibilities include assembling parts, inspecting for defects, operating equipment, and helping meet daily targets. Training is provided; prior manufacturing experience is beneficial for a quick ramp-up in a dynamic, on-site environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly line role is advantageous.
  • On-the-job training is provided to familiarize with processes and machinery.

Position Overview

Printed Solid Inc., a leader in the 3D printing industry and a Prusa Research Company. We are hiring a Assembly Line worker for our growing assembly lines of Prusa3D printers. The Assembly line worker is responsible for assembling Prusa3D products on a production line, ensuring that each component is correctly and efficiently placed to meet production targets. This position plays a crucial role in our customer satisfaction, as the quality of the build process will determine the customer experience and the quality of the final product. This is an on-site role in Newark, DE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Component Assembly: Assemble parts and components in a sequential manner, adhering to the specifications and quality standards provided by the company.
  • Quality Control: Inspect components and assemblies for defects, ensuring that each product meets the required quality standards. Report any issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain assembly line machinery and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Perform routine maintenance as needed. Efficiency and Productivity:
  • Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines. Identify and suggest improvements to the assembly process to enhance productivity.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Wear appropriate protective gear and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other assembly line workers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and address any production issues promptly.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on intricate details to ensure that each component is assembled correctly and meets quality standards.
  • Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small parts and tools with precision.
