Job summary

SpecSys is seeking an Assembly Lead to supervise daily assembly operations in our rural Midwest facility. You will identify efficient assembly sequences, approve time in/out, and coordinate with management and purchasing to meet schedules and quality standards.

You will ensure QC processes, document injuries, and collaborate with the project manager to implement ECO changes while maintaining safety and teamwork in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics.
• Follows work orders and signs off dispatches.
• Designs and constructs as needed.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily assembly operations and ensure on-time, on-budget production.
• Approve employee time in/out and time-off requests.
• Develop employee performance documentation with HR formats.
• Coordinate orders with management and purchasing for assemblies and shop supplies.
• Ensure QC processes and procedures are followed.
