Job summary

Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation is seeking a production supervisor to lead daily assembly line operations, meet production schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards. You will train and coach team members, monitor performance, report metrics, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering to resolve equipment or process issues.

This role requires familiarity with lean manufacturing, quality control, and ERP systems; a high school diploma or GED and 2–5 years of manufacturing leadership

Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience in a production environment.
  • Lean manufacturing and quality control principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications and ERP systems.

  • Inspect products and processes to maintain quality standards

  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment or process issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives on the line
  • All other duties assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

This role ensures that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and team performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
  • Lead and coordinate daily assembly line operations to meet production schedules
  • Assign tasks and monitor performance of line workers to ensure efficiency and quality
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and SOPs
  • Inspect products and processes to maintain quality standards
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to team members
  • Report production metrics and issues to supervisors or management
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment or process issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives on the line
  • All other duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and quality control principles
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions
  • Proficient in basic computer applications and ERP systems
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)
  • High school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly operations
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
