The Assembly Lead oversees daily assembly line operations, ensuring products are built to quality standards, production goals are met, and team members work efficiently and safely. This role coordinates activities, provides training, troubleshoots production issues, and acts as the primary point of contact between assembly staff and management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 3+ years of assembly/manufacturing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or lead role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; attention to detail.
• Leadership capability to motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily assembly tasks to meet production schedules.
• Inspect in-process and finished products to ensure quality and enforce standards.
• Train new and existing staff on assembly processes, equipment, and safety.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve assembly efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and PPE is worn; report unsafe conditions.

Position Summary

The Assembly Lead oversees daily assembly line operations, ensuring products are built to quality standards, production goals are met, and team members work efficiently and safely. This role coordinates activities, provides training, troubleshoots production issues, and acts as the primary point of contact between assembly staff and management.

Shift : Day

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Coordination
  • Assign daily tasks to assembly team members based on production schedules.
  • Monitor workflow to ensure targets are met on time.
  • Act as a resource for troubleshooting assembly issues.
• Quality Control
  • Inspect work in progress and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Enforce quality standards and initiate corrective actions when needed.
• Training & Development
  • Train new and existing team members on assembly processes, equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
• Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve assembly efficiency, safety, and product quality.
  • Recommend and implement process changes in coordination with supervisors.
• Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure all team members follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Report and address any unsafe conditions or incidents.
