Position Summary

Coordinates and directs daily the activities of the assigned production team to maximize productivity while maintaining quality. Ensures all safety procedures are followed and metrics met. Investigates, trouble-shoots and provides solutions to escalated production problems. Provides training for other assembly workers.

Job Description

Assigns work, reviews metrics, resolves issues that are escalated. Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures. Investigates, trouble-shoots and provides solutions to escalated production problems. Follows training and safety requirements and trains Assemblers to use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Keeps daily assembly production records. Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors.
