Job summary

Ultra Maritime is seeking an experienced Assembly Supervisor to coordinate daily production activities on the line, ensuring safety and quality while guiding a team of assemblers.

You will oversee work assignments, monitor metrics, and address escalated production issues, with emphasis on soldering and calibrations for components meeting tolerances and specifications.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of related experience.
  • Soldering training certified.
  • Follows safety procedures and quality standards.

Investigates, trouble-shoots and provides solutions to escalated production problems. Provides training for other assembly workers.

Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures. Investigates, trouble-shoots and provides solutions to escalated production problems. Follows training and safety requirements and trains Assemblers to use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Keeps daily assembly production records. Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors.
