Actalent is seeking an entry to intermediate level inspector in Lake Geneva, WI. You will work in a clean room, inspecting plastic molded parts and documenting results, with a focus on quality and traceability.

The role is contract to hire, onsite in Lake Geneva with 6pm-6am shifts. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, with benefits eligibility based on status.

Qualifications

• Highschool education or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience using measurement tools (calipers & micrometers).
• 1+ year experience in plastic injection molding.
• 1+ year experience in a clean room environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting Parts (50-60%): pull plastic injection molded parts off production runs and inspect for flash, burrs, scratches.
• Measuring and Verifying Quality (10-20%): use calipers, micrometers, gauges; record measurements and results.
• Packaging Parts (20-30%): count/weight approved parts, label, complete traceability paperwork, prepare for shipment.
• Documentation (10-15%): complete inspection records, update ERP systems, review travelers and instructions, document defects.

Description - URGENT NEED

You’ll spend most of your shift in a clean room inspecting small plastic molded parts, looking for defects, taking measurements, documenting results, and packaging good parts for shipment. It's a quality-focused manufacturing role where attention to detail is critical because the products must meet strict customer and clean room standards.

Inspecting Parts (50-60% of the job) - pull plastic injection molded parts off production runs, visually inspect for flash, burrs, scratches, etc.

Measuring and Verifying Quality (10-20% of the job) - using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools. Verify dimensions match blueprint specifications. Record measurements and inspection results.

Packaging Parts (20-30% of the job) - count or weigh approved parts, label bags and boxes correctly, complete traceability paperwork, prepare finished product for shipment or the next manufacturing step.

Documentation (10-15% of the job) - complete inspection records, update ERP systems, review job travelers and working instructions, document any nonconforming materials or defects found.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
