Qualifications

  • Read, write, and communicate in English; follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and blueprints.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude; familiarity with hand/power tools; experience with mechanical, electrical, or electronic assemblies preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality; basic math for measurements, counts, and tolerances.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment and meet production metrics or quotas.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity; maintain clean, organized work area.
  • High school diploma or GED and prior manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, or machinery following work orders and blueprints.
  • Inspect parts and assemblies for quality and accuracy; report defects to supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area per 5S and safety requirements.
  • Meet production goals while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing or related teams and follow updated policies and training requirements.

Job description

Assembler I

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler I for a manufacturing company in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you will contribute to a quality-focused production team while gaining valuable experience in a structured manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate

$17.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Assembler I Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, or machinery while following work orders, blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
  2. Inspect parts and finished assemblies for quality and accuracy; identify defects and report issues to the supervisor.
  3. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to 5S standards and applicable environmental, health, and safety requirements.
  4. Meet production goals and timelines while following company, safety, quality, customer, and regulatory standards.
  5. Participate in Lean Manufacturing, EMC teams, and/or FIH initiatives; follow updated policies, procedures, work instructions, and annual training requirements.
  6. Support the effectiveness of the Quality Management System and perform other duties as assigned.
Assembler I Qualifications & Requirements
  1. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, as well as follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and blueprints.
  2. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools; experience with mechanical, electrical, or electronic assemblies is preferred.
  3. Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, familiarity with quality inspection processes, and basic math skills for measurements, counts, and tolerances.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment and meet production metrics or quotas.
  5. Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
  6. Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies and work independently or as part of a team; a high school diploma or GED and previous manufacturing or assembly experience are preferred.

Bonus Opportunity

A $50 referral bonus is available. Both the employee and the referral must remain on assignment for 30 days to receive the payout.
