Job summary

Chiyoda Usa Corporation in Greencastle, IN is seeking a full-time manufacturing operator to operate and tend plastic molding machines for automotive parts on the 1st shift.

Responsibilities include following safety rules, reading work instructions, performing maintenance on machines, inspecting parts for defects, packing, and maintaining clean work areas; forklift certification training available.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required or preferred.
• Must be self-motivated and reliable with good attendance.
• Able to train and work with others in a team setting.
• Demonstrates problem solving and adherence to safety rules.
• Fork truck certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend plastic molding machines to mold plastic automotive parts.
• Follow and enforce Environmental and Safety Rules.
• Read, follow, and enforce Standard Work Instructions.
• Operate, program, and perform repairs/maintenance on all machines and robots.
• Visually scan parts for quality defects.
• Perform assembly of product as directed.
• Trim excess plastic from part as required.
• Package parts according to customers' requirements.
• Follow established procedures to reject nonconforming products.
• Ensure production paperwork is correct and filled out completely.
• Maintain and enforce clean work areas.
• Operate fork truck as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description

Responsible for operating and tending plastic molding machines to mold plastic automotive parts.
