Job summary

Astemo, Ltd. seeks an experienced supervisor to lead the daily assembly department operations. You will establish production plans aligned with shipping times, coordinate changeovers, and ensure accurate end-of-shift records.

The role requires training associates, supporting quality improvements, and maintaining a safe work environment. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily assembly department operations
• Establish production plan that relates to the actual shipping times
• Communicate and execute all change overs with General Associates and Finished Goods (FGA)
• All end of shift information is accurate and recorded
• Train and assist associates on departmental procedures and work instructions
• Complete required production quality and assist in troubleshooting process issues
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and departmental goals
• Other duties as assigned
