Job summary

NOV seeks skilled personnel to assemble and test conveyors and rotating assemblies, ensuring parts meet dimensions and quantity specifications. The role includes welding stainless steel, following work orders, and maintaining safety in a non-climate controlled environment.

Candidates should be willing to cross-train, operate a forklift and overhead crane, and support housekeeping and training activities. Must be able to work extra hours daily and on weekends as required, with a strong emphasis

Job description

• Wire, assemble and test machinery such as conveyors, rotating assemblies, etc. according to specifications and shop orders.
• Check quality of parts to ensure accuracy of dimensions and quantity.
• Weld Stainless Steel
• Follow job operations as outlined on the work order
• Must be willing to work in a non-climate controlled environment
• Report dimensional discrepancies to Supervisor as they occur
• Must be willing to cross-train into other areas as required to meet production schedules and/or manufacturing needs
• Capable of driving a forklift and operating an overhead crane
• Must be able to work extra hours daily and on weekends as required
• All employees are required to assist in plant housekeeping
• Must be able to work around the chemicals in the assigned department
• Interface with manufacturing personnel
• Must be willing to work in an on-the-job training status for the first few weeks of employment
• Assist in the training of new personnel
• All other duties as assigned
