Job summary

Colson Group Holdings LLC in the United States seeks an Assembly Automation Maintenance Specialist to keep semi-automatic equipment at peak performance through hands-on repair, preventive care, and troubleshooting. You will support production teams with timely technical assistance.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager, you will participate in design reviews, drive improvements, and help ensure safety, quality, and reliability across the line.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Experience: 4+ years in manufacturing; at least 2 years in plant maintenance.
• Technical depth: Troubleshooting and repair across hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and PLCs.
• Skills: Cross-functional communication; Excel and Word proficiency; forklift safety training.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semi-automated equipment such as pneumatics, bowl systems, rotary tables, PLC stations, and robotics.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control issues to minimize downtime and sustain uptime.
• Contribute to procedures and process documentation to support continuous improvement.
• Respond quickly to production and cross‑functional requests with clear communication.
• Uphold safety standards and follow Lockout/Tagout during all service activities.
• Assist in new equipment design reviews, machine approvals, and prototype tryouts.
• Work overtime as needed to support schedules and deadlines.
• Complete related assignments and projects as needed.
