Job summary

Kelly Services in Asheville, NC is hiring an assembler to build components and inspect quality to design specifications. This role requires standing for extended periods and using hand tools; it follows a 1st shift from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm with mandatory OT on Friday as needed.

You will work with SAP to enter data, track serial numbers, and ensure accuracy of production records. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with the ability to work with your hands and follow directions.

• Shift Hours:1st shift / 5:0 am to 3:30pmMonday through Thursday with mandatory OT on Friday as needed
  
• 4-5 month assignment

What’s a typical day as an Assembler? You’ll be:

• Follows all safety procedures and performs all duties using required safety equipment according to company policies and practices.
  
• Inspects components and completed units during assembly for quality and accuracy.
  
• Selects and install partsaccording to design specifications
  
• Use a wide range of hand tools, including, but not limited to drill, rivet gun, drill press
  
• Use SAP system shared plant-wide to enter product related data into computer system and track component serial numbers, scan bar codes, production rates, physical location, etc.
