Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a Tech B to support test execution and engineering activities in a collaborative environment. You will assist engineers in applying engineering technology to develop and test product assemblies or components, following detailed process instructions and documentation requirements.

The role involves working closely with a team of engineers and skilled operators, with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate written and verbally.
• Able to use Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to perform manual labor and operate automated and semi-automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning, maintenance, and or calibration of laboratory and equipment with limited supervision.
• Operates moderately complex equipment in the production of hardware using moderately complex manual skills with training and supervision.
• Documents their work consistent with work unit policy with limited supervision.
• Performs focused training to enable progression into higher skilled positions at the discretion of the supervisor.
• Other temporary assignments at the discretion of the supervisor.

Assisting engineers in applying engineering technology to develop and test product assemblies or components. Strict adherence to process instructions and documentation requirements is expected. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $39.82 - $39.82
