Job Description

Hourly pay rate (to the candidate) range of ***/hour - ***/hour - these are the BASE rates (meaning shift differential would be added on top of that).

Shift hours are as follows:

• 2nd shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm (with 10% shift differential starting from the first day)
• 1st shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
• 3rd shift: 10:30 pm - 6:00 am

Employees may need to train on a different shift depending on operational needs, with the possibility of moving to their assigned shift after training.

Position Overview

Our team in the Commercial Aircraft Group is seeking an Assembly & Test (A&T) Technician II to join us. The role reports to the Process Manager and is based onsite in East Aurora, New York, on a 2nd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, or demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer instructions in English, along with basic math skills.
• At least 3 years of experience in a related technical field.
• Participation in the company's FAA Drug & Alcohol Program is required due to FAA regulations on Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.).

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly activities using mechanical and electronic measurement tools, fixtures, and torque mechanisms to meet build requirements.
• Work from drawings, instructions, and parts lists, and communicate performance results and issues in writing.
• Set up and perform operational tests on finished products using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment, fixtures, and tools.
• Diagnose test failures, assess hardware condition, and recommend rework or configuration changes.
• Complete daily administrative tasks to support overall operations.
