Job summary

Advance Services Inc. in Grand Island, NE is hiring an assembler for a world-class manufacturing facility.

This temp-to-hire role operates on the 1st shift (6:00 am–2:30 pm) with possible overtime and weekly pay; it offers a safe, team-focused environment and opportunities to grow within the company. Daily duties include applying, aligning, attaching and fastening components to chassis, following specifications and blueprints, inspecting for defects, recording issues, keeping a clean

• Apply, align, attach, insert, and fasten components to chassis as per order and sequence
• Follow engineering specs, work instructions, sketches, schematics, blueprints, process sheets and verbal instructions
• Identify, report, and record defects or faulty equipment and parts to supervision
• Visually inspect parts and completed assemblies for function and appearance; maintain a clean, organized work area
• Overtime may be required, including occasional Saturday operations and safety compliance

Job Duties:

• Apply, align, attach, insert, and fasten components and sub-assemblies to chassis in the required order and sequence
• Work from engineering specifications, work instructions, sketches, schematics, blueprints, process sheets, check sheets, photo books, and verbal instructions
• Perform necessary adjustments as units progress down the assembly line
• Identify, record, and report defects, improper operations, faulty equipment, and defective parts to supervision or management
• Visually inspect parts and complete assemblies for completeness, function, operation, and appearance
• Assist in the development and improvement of assembly practices and procedures
• Move materials as needed to perform job duties
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment
• Follow all prescribed safety rules and regulations
• Perform touch-up or minor repair work when assigned
• Complete other duties as required or directed
• Overtime may be required, including occasional Saturday operations

Pay: $22.01/hr Shift: 1st shift Hours:6am - 2:30pm
